Verrus offers the parking industry an integrated set of parking applications from pay by phone through to digital permits and online ticket payments. By starting from the ground up and working with our customers, we have developed cost-effective, flexible systems that can be up and operational within weeks. We also use the latest in secure hosting technologies to provide Web-based back office interfaces eliminating the expense of installing and maintaining local software.
 

PAY BY PHONE



Purchase on-street and off-street parking by phone. Works alongside, or can be integrated with, pay-and-display and pay-by-space meters.  

  • Credit Card Payments Only in North America. Credit Card and Debit Card Payments in the U.K. - Using pay by phone technology instantly allows credit card payments and debit card payments without any further, expensive hardware purchases.
  • Eliminate Coins and Change – Everybody carries a mobile phone. Offering them the opportunity to park and pay by phone makes carrying change unnecessary.
  • Extend parking remotely – Customers can extend their parking time by phone, without needing to run back to their cars. This leads to more parking revenue and less ticket issues.
  • Online Access – Parking expenses can be accessed and printed out online. Clients are also able to log on and see their lot revenues in real time.
  • Email Receipts – Ability to have parking receipts directly emailed to the client.
  • Audit Trail – Pay by phone creates a full reporting audit trail for payments and parking attendant tracking.

METER OUT OF ORDER



Answers and tracks all meter out of order calls. Notifies technicians and management by email or text message.

  • Dispatch Meter Repair Staff - Instant alerts to staff by email or text message allows them to monitor incidents online in real time and update by automated phone system 24/7 including weekends.
  • Collect Additional Revenue - Ability to take payment while meters are broken Alternatively the system will provide confirmation numbers instead of requiring payment. This preference can be assigned by individual meter. Therefore, you have the option to force payments in areas of high abuse.
  • Online Management - Online reports track and calculate incidents, and are available monthly to landlords and stakeholders. On-call schedules can be set up and maintained easily.
  • Detailed Reports - Easy access to online reports that show problem history and repair time for all incidents.
     

TICKET PAYMENTS


Credit card payment of parking tickets by phone or web 24/7. System has the option to interface with a database of issued tickets to ensure valid payments.

  • Real-time Collection Payment – Through the phone or web, customers enter their information into the system, which calculates the correct payment, records it, and transfers it to the merchant.
  • Online Management - The system can be a stand-alone or interfaced with violation systems. Data is easy to export and integrate with external systems.

DIGITAL PERMITS



Eliminate hang tags and stickers with digital permits that streamline administration and automate renewal procedures.
  • Eliminate Paper Permits & Hang Tags – Permits can be purchased without physical permits and tags, reducing the costs of purchasing and distributing them.
  • Online Management - Customers apply and pay for permits online or by phone, making digital permits a convenient self-service capability. Permit status can be checked online and enforced electronically.  


ELECTRONIC VALIDATIONS


Validate parking online and eliminate parking stamps or passes. Easy streamlined reconciliation process speeds administration of validation services.

  • Online Management – By entering a license plate or stall number, the system calculates and records the cost of parking to the client’s account. Clients have the convenience of not having to return to their vehicles with a parking pass and their license plate is automatically activated and validated. Patrol staff can check validations through any wireless PDA or cell phone.
  • E-Vite - Send parking coupons by email. Each email contains a clickable link that allows recipients to pre-register parking in advance for a specific day and time. This avoids the need to check in with the parking organizer on the day of the event.
     

EVENT PARKING


Manage event parking by offering online reservations and pre-payment. Inventory control ensures that spaces are not oversold.

  • Secure Processing – Customers use a secure website to identify which parking lot they wish to use and pay securely by credit card in N.A. and by credit card or debit card in the U.K. They can optionally print a receipt as proof of purchase but this is not required.
  • Online Management - Back office system allows limits to be set for number of spaces that can be sold per parking lot and provides reports that show number of reservations made. Valid reservation data can be sent to enforcement staff wireless PDA or cell phone.


2. FARES

Verrus is currently working with taxi and limo companies to extend its pay by phone capabilities to customers looking to pay their fares by credit card in N.A. and by credit card and debit card in the U.K. through their mobile phones. By relying on Verrus for the payment method, these companies no longer have to worry about additional hardware in their vehicles yet still benefit from immediate payment processing.
